RVPlusYou is an RV Rental platform for planning vacations. The user will book an RV and select his vacation spot. Once the booking is done, the user can check in and check out at his convenience.

The Situation -

RVPlusYou is an RV Rental platform for planning vacations. The user will book an RV and select his vacation spot. Once the booking is done, the user can check in and check out at his convenience. He will have the ease of searching camp grounds. The owners of the RV will deliver and setup at his preferred location.  RV owners can list their RVs for rentals. There were traffic load issues with the website. The platform was not SEO-ready. There were maintenance and server side issues that had to be taken care of.  Camp ground search functions had to be integrated. User data search had to be made retrievable.

Objectives and Challenges –

1. Provide a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting RV Owners and RV Renters
2. Searching for camp grounds to plan a vacation; searching RV listings
3. Managing traffic, SEO and maintenance related issues
4. Search details memory integration

Our Analysis of Situation –

1. Several load balancers had to be integrated to ensure customer experience is smooth and memorable
2. SEO was integrated for better hit rates
3. Ready-made scripts had to be changed and managed
4. Maintenance problems and server side issues were addressed
5. Google APIs for camp grounds had to be integrated and the challenge of restricting API calls had to be addressed due to Google’s move to commercialize the API calls
6. User data search had to be stored in database 

Tech Stack –

1. Website was based on core PHP and MySQL. The website was designed to be mobile responsive. Native applications like android and iOS were also implemented.
2. Using AWS, a couple of web services were integrated.
3. Voice calling from application was applied to the application.
4. Premium hosts can be approached from the website over call.
5. VoIP integrated system with call duration of 5 – 10 mins was provided.

Impact of this project in the given category/industry vertical/on target customers/audience –

1. Higher revenues was a direct impact of implementing this solution
2. More customers and affiliates were added to the repertoire of RVPlusYou

Other similar categories/industries where a similar type of project can be considered –

Customization of renting vehicle for yacht booking or boat booking would help extend the benefits of this application to other landscapes as well.

The RVs were provided within a specific delivery radius. Once the customers select their camping spot, they can choose the RVs from the RV listings available in the delivery radius. The business worked purely on rental basis. Revenues were earned from paypal commissions and also, from affiliations.

The Result –

1. Optimized navigation and website search; SEO
2. Click jack attack was resolved
3. Cloud based solution was provided
4. Maintenance mode was successful

A new marketspace for vehicle rentals was created by customizing Bistrostays.
